There are times throughout life when we all have very real, and very personal feelings towards those around us. My life is much the same, with various opportunities to be near those whom I love. My family is a large piece of me, and I can't imagine my life without them. Whether near, or far, they are those whom have helped to sculpt me into who I am at this very day. I'm not sure if they really realize how much of an impact they've had on my life, and who I am, but I hope that they one day will. I grew up in my mother's home, she raised, and supported me, and my siblings as best she could. I learned how to be my best because of her, and the many struggles that she has suffered. My grandfather, and uncle Steve supported me in the role of a father, even till this day. My grandmother cared for us after, and even during school, as our mother worked to provide for us. My numerous aunts, and uncles cared, supported, loved, and looked after us, as with all of the grandchildren. They taught us many things, and continue to do so. I remember playing in my grandparents back yard as a child with my cousins. I know each of them by name, voice, spirit, and struggle, we are all as brothers, and sisters. I now have many second cousins, and two wonderful nephews whom I love more than anything else in this world. They give me purpose, and show me what the love of God truly is. I'm not quite sure where I'd be without them, or any other member of my family, but I know I wouldn't be here, and I wouldn't be the person that I am today. I'm grateful that my family has given me such great direction, it has taught me so much of who my Father in heaven is.
